ABOUT Quinoa Vegetables Cutlet RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Pre washed Quinoa 1/2 cup
  2. Water 1 cup for cooking quinoa
  3. Boiled potato 1 medium size
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Carrot 1/4 cup
  6. Corn 1/4 cup
  7. Green coriander leaves chopped 1 tbsp
  8. Spring onion chopped 1 tbsp
  9. Green chilli 1 finely chopped
  10. Ginger 1/2" finely chopped
  11. Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  12. Chaat masala 1/2 tsp
  13. White pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  14. Limejuice 1 tsp
  15. Cornflour 1 tbsp(to coat)
  16. oil for shallow fry

Instructions

  1. In a pot add quinoa & water, once it starts boiling then add a little bit salt. Add the carrots and corn. Cover it & cook on low flame till quinoa cooked properly. It takes 10-12 minutes. Remove from heat & leave for 5 minutes more.
  2. After 5 minutes remove the cover and take the mixture out in a bowl to cool down and add all ingredients, mix properly.
  3. Check seasoning, shape it into a cutlet. Heat oil in a pan for shallow frying. Roll the cutlet in cornflour, it will give a nice & crispy crust.
  4. Cook from both sides till it becomes nice and golden in colour. Serve hot with sauce and salad.
