ABOUT Rawa dosa and palya RECIPE

A perfect weekend south indian breakfast.who doesnt like a crispy dosa accompanied with coriander chutney and aloo palya.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 big potatoe boiled and skinned
  2. 1/ small onion cut finely
  3. 1 small tomato chopped
  4. 2 green chillies cut finely
  5. 1 inch piece ginger cut finely
  6. 2 to 3 cloves garlic crushed
  7. Coriander leaves and curry leaves
  8. 1 tbsp oil
  9. mustard seeds,,udad dal,and chains dal for seasoning
  10. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Grind 1 tsp of fresh coconut,1 tsp of saunf,and 1 tsp of rice powder
  13. For the rawa dosa batter
  14. 1 cup rice powder,3/4 cup semolina,1/4 cup atta

Instructions

  1. Take a kadai add oil,add seasoning,add onions,green chillies,curry leaves,garlic ginger pieces,fry
  2. Add tomatoe,liitle salt,fry add,potatoes,ground masala ,turmeric...
  3. Add water as required adjust salt.
  4. Aloo palya ,Vella kurma on Tamil.
  5. For. Dosa,combine,1 cup of rice powder,3/4 cup semolina,1/4 cup attached and salt and water to make thin batter
  6. Season the batter with ,mustard seeds,jeera,sesame seeds,asfoetida,finely cut coriander leaves, curry leaves, , green chilli,ginger
  7. Take non stick pan and heat it.pour over the pan,adjusting .we should get holes .don't spread like regular dosa.add oil on all sides and cook it crispy.cook on one side. Serve with palya and chutney
