Amritsari paneer tikka

Ingredients to make Amritsari paneer tikka

  • paneer 250 gm
  • ginger-Garlic Paste 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Ajwain -1/2 tsp
  • besan -3/4 cup
  • Tandoori masala -1/2 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • oil 1 tsp
  • oil for frying
  • Garam masala -1/2 tsp
  • haldi -1/4 tsp
  • Chat masala 1/2 tsp

How to make Amritsari paneer tikka

  1. Take the paneer and cut it into thin and long pieces.
  2. Take a bowl, add the besan, salt, ginger-garlic paste, haldi, ajwain, garam masala and tandoori masala. Mix it well together.
  3. Add little bit of water and oil, mix it well together. Add the paneer pieces and let it marinate for 5 mins.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, add the marinated paneer and fry on a medium heat till the pieces are golden brown. Drain on a tissue paper.
  5. Sprinkle chat masala and serve it with green chutney.
