Ingredients to make Aloo kalonji ki sabzi with raita

  • 3 large sized potatoes, cut into small cubes
  • salt as per taste
  • 3 tsp oil
  • A pinch of cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp kalonji
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp haldi powder
  • 1 small sized onion
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1/2 cup water
  • For the raita:
  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 small sized onion
  • salt to your taste
  • 1/4 cup water

How to make Aloo kalonji ki sabzi with raita

  1. Heat oil in a cooker and add cumin seeds.
  2. When the cumin seeds start to splutter add the potatoes to it. Then add kalonji, red chilli powder, haldi powder, green chilli, salt and water.
  3. Close the lid and allow it to cook until 2 whistles blow.
  4. For the raita, take the yogurt in a bowl, add the sliced onions, salt and water. Mix them well together.
