For gravy - Take a pan, add oil and butter, stir it and then add cinnamon, black & green cardamom, cumin seeds, bay leaf, dry red chilli into it, stir all and then add chopped onions into it, as the onions start browning, add chopped ginger-garlic into it and cook it nicely & then add all the dry masalas and salt into it. Cook it well and then add chopped tomatoes & cashews into it. Further add 1/2 cup water & cook it well for 2 minutes.
