Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Potatoes-4
  2. PANEER-200GM
  3. Onion-3-4
  4. Tomato-5-6
  5. Ginger-Garlic Chopped -2tbsp
  6. Green chilli -4
  7. Cashews-20-25
  8. Coriander leaves
  9. Corn flour -2tbsp
  10. Cumin seeds -1tbsp
  11. Cinnamon -1
  12. Black cardamom -1
  13. Green Cardamom -4
  14. Dry Red Chilli -2
  15. Bay leaf -2
  16. Coriander Powder -2tbsp
  17. Cumin Powder -1tbsp
  18. Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder -2tbsp
  19. Turmeric Powder -1/2 tbsp
  20. Kasoori Methi -1tbsp
  21. salt as per taste
  22. Cooking Oil
  23. Butter-2-3tbsp
  24. Fresh Cream -2tbsp

Instructions

  1. For Kofte - Boil the potatoes, cool and peel it and grate it & also grate paneer & put both in a bowl.
  2. Add Chopped green chilli,chopped ginger,chopped coriander leaves, some chopped cashews, salt and corn flour into it. Mix it well and make koftas of it in any shape.
  3. Take a Kadhai, put oil into it, heat it and fry the koftas on medium-high flame.
  4. For gravy - Take a pan, add oil and butter, stir it and then add cinnamon, black & green cardamom, cumin seeds, bay leaf, dry red chilli into it, stir all and then add chopped onions into it, as the onions start browning, add chopped ginger-garlic into it and cook it nicely & then add all the dry masalas and salt into it. Cook it well and then add chopped tomatoes & cashews into it. Further add 1/2 cup water & cook it well for 2 minutes.
  5. As the tomatoes become little massy then switch off the flame. Cool it & grind it well & then sieve the masalas by pouring little water into it.
  6. Take a pan, add grinded masalas, kasoori methi and 1 cup of water to it, give it a boil and then add fresh cream into it and switch off the flame.
  7. For serving, first put the fry koftas in the serving plate and the pour the gravy over it. Garnish with some fresh cream & coriander leaves & serve it.
