Kurkuri bhindi

Ingredients to make Kurkuri bhindi

  • Okra lengthwise sliced (250 gm)
  • Gram flour 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Lemon slice
  • Oil for deep-frying

How to make Kurkuri bhindi

  1. Take the besan in a bowl and add the garam masala to it.
  2. Season with salt and red chilli powder.
  3. Lightly dust the slit bhindis with the mix and set it aside for 15 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, lower the heat and deep-fry the bhindis in small batches till they turn golden and crispy.
  5. Squeeze the lemon over the bhindi and serve it immediately.
