Ingredients to make Veg Pumpkin platter with Chilli Jam

  • 1 cup grated pumkin
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot
  • 1/2 cup grated cauliflower
  • 1/4 teaspoon chat masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 green chilli powder
  • 3-4 tulsi leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup maize flour
  • Flour 1/4 cup
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 4-5 bread slices
  • For chilli jam:
  • 6 red chillis
  • 4-5 tomatoes chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon vinegar
  • Few coriander leaves
  • Tomato puree 1 cup
  • Oil to fry

How to make Veg Pumpkin platter with Chilli Jam

  1. In a pan, saute all the grated vegetables, then add the spices, salt. Mix it well and keep aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix the maize flour and flour, now add 2 pinches of salt ,1 tablespoon oil. Mix it well and make a chapati dough.
  3. Make 6 bolls of the dough, roll it now and keep 1 bread slice in this roll.
  4. Now fill it with the vegetable mixture and roll it tightly. Fry this in hot oil, you can also bake it in the oven at 180 degrees for 15 mins.
  5. For the red chilli jam, in a pan pour the 1/2 teaspoon oil. Now add in the chopped tomatoes, red chilli, tomato puree, saute for 2 minutes.
  6. Make a paste in the mixer, now add the vinegar, salt, coriander leaves. Your red chilli jam is ready.

My Tip:

If you fry this platter in a non-stick pan in a slow heat, it becomes more crispy.
