ABOUT Black Pepper Chicken RECIPE

A flavorful, simple and easy black pepper chicken recipe prepared using few basic ingredients and coarsely grounded black peppercorns which turned out amazingly delicious. This serves as a delicious and healthy side dish.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 500 gms Chicken
  2. 2 tbsps oil
  3. 2 dry red chillies broken
  4. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  5. 1 sprig curry leaves
  6. 2 onion finely chopped
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1 tomato chopped
  9. ½ tsp turmeric powder
  10. 1 tbsp coriander seeds grounded
  11. 3 tbsps coarsely grounded peppercorns
  12. Water as required

Instructions

  1. HEAT 2 TBSPS OIL. ADD 1 TBSP GINGER GARLIC PASTE, 2 DRY RED CHILLIES BROKEN AND SAUTE FOR A MIN.
  2. ADD 1 SPRIG CURRY LEAVES, 2 FINELY CHOPPED ONIONS AND SAUTE FOR 2 MINS.
  3. ADD SALT TO TASTE, 1 TOMATO CHOPPED AND SAUTE TILL IT TURNS SOFT AND MUSHY.
  4. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER,1 TBSP CORIANDER POWDER,3 TBSPS GROUNDED PEPPERCORNS, SAUTE FOR A MIN
  5. ADD 500 GMS CHICKEN AND MIX WELL WITH THE MASALAS.
  6. COVER THE PAN AND COOK ON LOW-MEDIUM HEAT STIRRING OCCASIONALLY FOR ABOUT 10 MINS.
  7. SPRINKLE LITTLE WATER, MIX WELL AND COOK FURTHER FOR 10-15 MINS OR TILL THE CHICKEN IS COOKED WELL.
  8. SPRINKLE SOME CRACKED PEPPERCORNS AND SERVE HOT AS A SIDE DISH.
