ABOUT Atta seviya RECIPE

A traditional dish from Punjab. Generally enjoyed in winters, Women in Punjab make seviya at home.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Atta seviya or bembino seviya 1 cup
  2. Milk 1 and 1/2 liter
  3. Sugar 1 cup
  4. A pinch of elaichi powder

Instructions

  1. Roast the seviya without any ghee or oil.
  2. Once roasted, put it in the milk. Let it cook on a low flame.
  3. Stir often so it doesn't stick to bottom.
  4. Once the milk gets thicker and the color changes, put in the sugar and elaichi powder.
  5. Stir it for the next 10 mins.
  6. Enjoy!
