ABOUT Pineapple and Mango Sasav RECIPE

Savory, sweet and sour dish from the Konkan region with my streamlined, easy recipe and addition of apple for crunch!

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. ¼ cup grated fresh coconut or defrosted frozen grated coconut.
  2. ¾ teaspoon black mustard seeds, dry roasted
  3. ½ teaspoon red chili powder, or to taste
  4. 1 big juicy, ripe mango or 2 medium ones, cut into chunks and the flesh around the seed extracted
  5. 1 cup fresh juicy pineapple chunks.
  6. 1/2 apple,washed and cut into smaller dice
  7. sea salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Grind to a fine paste the coconut, roasted mustard seeds and the red chili powder.
  2. Add to the rest of the ingredients, mix and serve!
