ABOUT granola bars RECIPE

these bars are energy booster,many times we do not have time to eat dry fruits or sometimes we forget this is the best way to boost energy as dry fruits have proteins vitamins,iron and calcuim,for example almonds are very healthy for heart,walnuts for brain ,dates cure constipation...you can carry these bars when you move from home to office,these can be given to kids in their Tiffin box,the best part of these granola bars is they can be kept out of fridge for 10 days so friends lets make these granola bars

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 100 gms almonds grinded coarsely
  2. 50 gms pistachio grinded coarsely
  3. 25 gms flax seeds
  4. 25 gms magaz seeds
  5. 50 gms walnuts grinded coarsely
  6. 300 gms dates deseeded
  7. 25 gms cashewnuts grinded coarsely
  8. 25 gms black sesame seeds
  9. 25 gms raisins green/black
  10. 1tsp ghee or butter

Instructions

  1. roast amonds,pistachio and walnuts
  2. roast cashewnuts too
  3. roast for 3-5 Minutes
  4. remove in separate bowl
  5. roast sesame seeds and flax seeds for 2minutes
  6. remove these too in separate bowl
  7. line a butter paper in a square tin
  8. finely chop dates
  9. add 1tsp butter in a pan
  10. keep low flame
  11. add dates and keep on pressing &stirring
  12. when dates melt switch off flame
  13. add roasted dry fruits
  14. add sesame and flaxseeds
  15. add raisins
  16. mix everything thoroughly
  17. transfer this mixture in lined tin
  18. press tightly with spatula or presser
  19. cool for sometime
  20. hold butter paper and remove it
  21. cut with knife in square or rectangular shape
  22. wrap every bar in cling wrap
  23. store in air tight container
