Ingredients to make Caramel Sauce

  • 200 grams sugar
  • 100 ml cream
  • 3 tblsp butter
  • A pinch of salt

How to make Caramel Sauce

  1. In a saucepan heat sugar on gentle heat. Do not stir. Let the sugar melt . You can turn the pan to adjust the temperature.
  2. Cook the sugar until deep golden brown. Turn off the heat. Add cream, sugar and a pinch of salt. Whisk well.
  3. It will bubble but don’t worry. Keep whisking until smooth. Pour into an clean air-tight container. Refrigerate.
