A healthy salad dish which is a filling meal in itself.

Sprouts salad

Ingredients to make Sprouts salad

  • Sprouts of any whole pulses
  • 2 cups of red daal/beans or mixture of both
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 radish
  • 1 small red cabbage
  • 1 onion
  • 1 boiled potato
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • A pinch of chaat masala
  • salt to taste

How to make Sprouts salad

  1. Wash the sprouts and steam them for 2 minutes.
  2. Next chop the ingredients, tomatoes, cucumber, radish, cabbage, onion, potato, and mix them well with the steamed sprouts.
  3. Also add in a pinch of chaat masala and lemon juice to this mixture, make sure to mix it thoroughly.
  4. Store in the fridge till it is cooled.
  5. Serve as a healthy snack or dinner.

My Tip:

Sprouts of black channas and whole moong daal are the best bet for this salad.
