Ingredients to make Curry leaves chutney powder

  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Methi seeds 1/4 tsp
  • Chana Daal 1/2 cup
  • Pepper corns 1 tbsp
  • Tamarind lemon size
  • Green chillies 4-5
  • Garlic 2-3
  • Curry leaves 1 bag (1 to 1.5 cup)
  • Hing
  • Salt

How to make Curry leaves chutney powder

  1. Heat oil in pan, add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, methi seeds, chana daal, pepper corn, tamarind and fry them in a low flame one by one then add the chopped green chilli.
  2. Fry well and add the garlic, curry leaves, hing and fry these till the curry leaves become crisp, add salt and transfer it to a plate. Then let it cool down.
  3. Grind everything and store in an air tight jar. The chutney powder is ready to be eaten with hot rice and ghee.
