Best use of left over rice.

Fried Rice

Ingredients to make Fried Rice

  • Boiled rice 1 and 1/2 cup
  • Vegetables of choice 1 cup (Carrots, capsicum, Onion and Beans)
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • Soya sauce or Ketchup (Optional)
  • salt as per taste
  • red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp

How to make Fried Rice

  1. Chop all the vegetables. Keep them aside.
  2. Heat a wok, add oil and then add jeera, ginger-garlic paste, onions. When the onions turn translucent, add in all the chopped vegetables.
  3. Sprinkle salt, red chilli powder, ketchup and or soya sauce if using. Finally add the boiled rice and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Serve hot for best taste.

My Tip:

Fried rice is made best with leftover rice. Preferably 1 day old.
