  2. 2 TBSP MUSTARD PASTE
  3. 1 TBSP POPPY SEED PASTE
  4. 3 green chillies (spicy ones)
  5. A pinch of onion seeds or kala zeera

Instructions

  1. Coat the fish with the mustard, poppy seed paste, green chillies (slit in between), salt, half of the mustard oil, turmeric and marinate them for 15 mins.
  2. In a pan, add the rest of the mustard oil. When the oil is hot, add the onion seeds and let it splutter. Carefully place the fish and the marinade into the oil. Flip after 30 seconds and add the rest of the marinade.
  3. Meanwhile whisk the curd and add it to the fish. Then add 1/4 cup of water and cook the fish till the oil starts separating.
