Raw Mango with Smoked Bhoot Jolokia Chilli Pickle

Ingredients to make Raw Mango with Smoked Bhoot Jolokia Chilli Pickle

  • 4 raw green mangoes
  • 4 dried bhoot jolokia chillies, chopped
  • 2 tsp haldi
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp mustard seeds
  • 3 tbs vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Mustard oil

How to make Raw Mango with Smoked Bhoot Jolokia Chilli Pickle

  1. Remove the skin of the mangoes and finely slice them.
  2. Add haldi, salt and leave them to dry in the sun for 1 day.
  3. Grind the mustard with vinegar and then add the chillies to this paste.
  4. Add it with the oil to the sliced and dried mangoes.
  5. Cover the container with a muslin cloth and let it sun dry for a week.
  6. Store it in a sterilized glass jar.
  7. Enjoy!

My Tip:

Tastes good with everything especially khichdi.
