Ingredients to make Basket Chat (Oil free)

  • Maida : 1 cup
  • Suji : 1/3 cup
  • Besan : 1/4 cup
  • Chilled butter: 50 gms
  • Baking powder : 1 gm
  • Chilled water as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Boiled kabuli Channa : 100 gm
  • Hung curd : 200 gms
  • Sweet chutney
  • Green chutney
  • Chat masala
  • Black pepper
  • Black salt
  • Sev
  • Chopped coriander and ginger

How to make Basket Chat (Oil free)

  1. Make a dough with the maida, suji, besan, chilled butter, chilled water and salt.
  2. The dough should rest for 15 minutes. Then brush a muffin cup with butter. Spread the dough in the muffin cup and bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degree celsius. Once it's baked and cooled, cut strips and twist to make a handle.
  3. Mix the boiled channa, chat masala, black pepper, black salt, chopped ginger, coriander and sev.
  4. Fill the basket top with the chutney and mixture. Garnish with seasonal fruits.
  5. Enjoy the oil free basket chat!
