Ingredients to make Cheese-Roti Bake

  • 4 left over Rotis (medium sized)
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 medium sized Eggs
  • 1 cup chopped Onions
  • 1cup chopped Tomatoes
  • 2 Green chillies chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp. Coriander leaves chopped
  • 3 - 4 Cheese slices

How to make Cheese-Roti Bake

  1. Take a flat dish and pour in heated milk. Take eggs in a bowl and whisk by adding salt and pepper.
  2. Grease a round baking dish. Take each roti and dip it in warm milk. This is to soften the hard roti and also to impart taste. Place this in the greased baking dish.
  3. Spread onions, tomatoes and slice of cheese. Top it with another roti and press gently to form another layer. Repeat the toppings. Top this with another roti and press gently. Repeat and complete all the rotis.
  4. After you finish arranging all the layers, pour in whisked egg over the top and sides. Sprinkle onions and coriander leaves on top.
  5. Preheat your oven at 180°C and on microwave mode cook for 3 minutes or until layer of egg is completely cooked. This should not be baked, but cooked in the microwave mode.

My Tip:

This dish may be served with salad and Maggie hot and sweet chilly sauce.
