About Rawa Vegetable Idli Recipe

These tasty idlis are healthier than rice idlis.

Rawa Vegetable Idli

Ingredients to make Rawa Vegetable Idli

  • 1 cup curd
  • 1 cup rawa or suji
  • 1 packet eno
  • Vegetables of choice (Carrot, capsicum, Onion, Beans and Cabbage)
  • oil as required
  • salt as per taste
  • turmeric powder 1 pinch
  • red chilli powder as per taste

How to make Rawa Vegetable Idli

  1. Chop the vegetables and keep aside. In a mixing bowl, add in yogurt, rawa, salt, oil, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and mix well.
  2. Prepare the idli moulds by greasing them.
  3. Add eno into the idli batter and fill these idli moulds up to 3/4th full.
  4. Microwave for 4 minutes or more till the Idlis are cooked. (You can also use an idli maker.)

My Tip:

Add eno right at the end.
