Sweet Potato Cone

Ingredients to make Sweet Potato Cone

  • Sweet potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • Maida 50 gms
  • Sugar 100 gms
  • Milk powder
  • Butter
  • Few cashew nuts, raisins and almonds, crushed
  • Vanilla extract 1 tsp
  • Melted chocolate
  • Suji
  • Besan
  • Chilled butter
  • A pinch of salt
  • Chilled water as required

How to make Sweet Potato Cone

  1. Make a dough of the maida, suji, besan, butter, a pinch of salt and chilled water. Keep the dough in the refrigerator for 30 mins.
  2. After this time, spread the dough and cut strips of it. Take an aluminium cone brush with butter, then wrap the strips with cone.
  3. Toast them in a preheated oven at 170 degrees celsius for 15 minutes.
  4. Now cook the filling ingredients, mashed boiled sweet potato. Add the butter, chopped, almond, desiccated coconut, raisin, cashew nuts and vanilla essence.
  5. Pull out the cone and fill it with sweet potato and cover the open area with melted chocolate.
  6. Now it is ready to be served.
