Mango Raita

Ingredients to make Mango Raita

  • Curd 1 cup
  • Mango diced (ripe) 1/2 cup
  • Fresh coconut grated or dessicated coconut 2 tbsp
  • Sugar 3 tsp (as per taste)
  • Black salt 1/4 tsp
  • Roasted zeera powder 1/4 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1/8 tsp
  • Fresh curry patta 8-10
  • Mustard seeds 1/8 tsp
  • Oil 1/4 tsp

How to make Mango Raita

  1. Beat the curd, add salt, sugar and zeera powder.
  2. Add the diced mango pieces (I used Safeda variety).
  3. In a small pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Stir well then add chilli powder and immediately mix it with the curd.
  4. Serve it chilled.
