Mutton Keema Pie

Ingredients to make Mutton Keema Pie

  • 1 cup heaped Mutton keema
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1tbsp Fresh Cream (Optional)
  • ĵ cup Grated Cheese + 2tbsp for garnish
  • ĵ cup Macroni
  • 2tbsp Coriander finely chopped
  • 1-2tsp Kashmiri Chili Powder (as per taste)
  • Salt to taste

How to make Mutton Keema Pie

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200C
  2. Boil the macroni in salted water. Once cooked drain under running water to stop it from cooking.
  3. Beat eggs till light & fluffy
  4. In a bowl combine all the ingredients except 2tbsp cheese using a fork & mix well.
  5. Grease a pie or baking dish with little butter if your keema was cooked with less oil.
  6. Pour the keema mix in the baking dish; sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  7. Bake till the eggs are set & has a nice light brown or golden colour on top.
  8. Let it cool down a little, cut into a wedge & enjoy with a salad on the side or just as it is.
My Tip: Drain out the excess oil from your leftover keema or else it will float on top when you add the egg mixture & won't give a good taste or appearance
