This is my mother's recipe...its too yummy to resist, just melts in the mouth!

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Chhena 200g
  2. Mango pulp 100ml
  3. Eggs4
  4. Condensed milk
  5. sugar
  6. milk

Instructions

  1. Put chhena, condensed milk, mango pulp in a non stick pan and cook till it becomes a mass like this. You can omit this step by buying mango kalakand from sweet shop and straight away use from the next step onwards. I usually prefer the home made one.
  2. Put the mixture in the blender jar along with 1/2cup reduced Milk to make a fine paste
  3. In a bowl take egg yolks of 3eggs and 4th one,the full egg and mix with hand whisker to avoid frothing.
  4. Put the kalakand mix to it and mix well.
  5. Take a glass or aluminum baking dish and add a layer of caremelized sugar and let it solidify.
  6. Pour the prepared mixture by passing through a strainer to avoid any lumps.
  7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and put it in a steamer for 30min until cooked by checking with toothpick.
  8. Once cooked, cool it and put it in the fridge for at least 2hours before inverting the dish on a plate
  9. Serve by cutting pieces.
