Whores pasta/ Pasta Puttanesca

Ingredients to make Whores pasta/ Pasta Puttanesca

  • 50 ml olive oil
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1/2 packet spaghetti boiled
  • 2 dry red chillies
  • A handful of parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp black olives, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp capers, drained
  • Salt to taste
  • Grated parmesan cheese
  • 100 gms tomato sauce

How to make Whores pasta/ Pasta Puttanesca

  1. Cook the pasta in abundant boiling water with salt and olive oil till al dente. (The time of cooking depends on the pasta you are using and will be indicated on the packet.)
  2. Heat oil in a saucepan and cook the garlic and chilles over moderate low heat while stirring continuously.
  3. Add the chopped parsley and cook for 10 seconds.
  4. Add tomato sauce and cook the mixture over moderate heat for 1 minute. Next add the olives and capers and stir into the sauce for 2 minutes .
  5. Season it with salt.
  6. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce, top it with lots of grated Parmesan and enjoy hot.
