A special preparation from Jharkhand to your table. I was going through lot of recipes and finally found this as the best from google.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice(Arwa chawal) - 300 gm
  2. Chana dal 200 gm
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Water

Instructions

  1. Soak the rice and chana dal overnight or for minimum 5 to 4 hours. Drain the water and then grind this into a fine paste by adding little water.
  2. Once you have grinded the rice and chana dal, add salt as per taste. If you want thin roti's you can add little water to the paste. Season it with salt .
  3. Now heat a non-stick tawa or pan at a medium high heat. Grease it with oil.
  4. Take 2 tbsp of the rice paste and pour it over the pan. Spread the paste nicely over the pan and cover the pan, wait for 1/2 minute and then flip onto the other side, Cover and wait for another 20 seconds until some golden brown spots hits both the sides.
  5. Serve it hot to enjoy!

Lovely! can we make this with any sort of rice? or it has to be arwa only?
