ABOUT Jaggery Dipped Rusk RECIPE

In my childhood my mother was giving roasted rusk for evening snacks. By remembering that I had given some twist and innovated by dipping in Jaggery syrup and garnishing with chopped dry fruits to attract the kids.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Chopped almonds and pistachios 1 tsp
  2. Chopped cherries few
  3. Jaggery syrup 1/4 tsp
  4. Rusk 5-6
  5. Ghee 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. ROAST RUSK IN HOT TAWA
  2. FLIP AND GREASE GHEE
  3. AGAIN FLIP
  4. GREASE GHEE TO ANOTHER SIDE
  5. REMOVE
  6. DIP IN JAGGERY SYRUP
  7. GARNISH WITH CHERRIES
  8. GARNISH WITH CHOPPED DRY ALMONDS AND PISTACHIOS AND SERVE
