About Jhaal Muri Recipe

Jhaal means spicy and Muri means Puffed Rice, it's a snack seasoned with Indian spices.

Jhaal Muri

Ingredients to make Jhaal Muri

  • Puffed rice 2 cup
  • onion finely chopped 1 tbsp
  • green chillies 1-2
  • mustard oil 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • red chilli powder 1/2 tsp or to taste
  • lime Juice 1 tsp
  • Green coriander leaves 1 tbsp

How to make Jhaal Muri

  1. Combine mustard oil, salt, lime juice, red chilli and onion into a bowl. Add the puffed rice and mix properly. Garnish with green coriander leaves.
  2. Serve with ginger tea and enjoy.

hmmm nostalgia.....the best taste that comes is from the mustard oil...I tasted it first while on a train to guwahati as a kid and that taste remained till date... I will definitely try it after I am a little well... suffering from severe cough n cold :sob:
