Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 13/4 cups flour
  2. 1 tsp yeast
  3. 1 egg
  4. 1/4 cup +2 tbsp warm milk
  5. 3/4 tbsp sugar
  6. 1/2 tsp salt
  7. 2.5 tbsp soft butter
  8. 2 tbsp warm water
  9. For filling
  10. 3-4 tbsp soft butter + additional for greasing
  11. For topping
  12. 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. ADD FLOUR SUGAR, YEAST AND SALT IN A BOWL
  2. MIX EVERYTHING WELL
  3. ADD MILK, EGG, BUTTER AND WATER TO FLOUR MIXTURE AND MIX
  4. KNEAD SOFT DOUGH
  5. COVER AND LET IT REST FOR 1-2 HOURS IN WARM PLACE
  6. DEFLATE DOUGH GENTLY AND KNEAD FOR 2-3 MINUTES
  7. DIVIDE IN 2 BALLS
  8. DUST SURFACE WITH FLOUR AND START ROLLING THE BALL
  9. ADD BUTTER AND SPREAD EVENLY ON ROLLED DOUGH
  10. USING PIZZA CUTTER, CUT IN 8 OR 16 TRIANGLE
  11. ROLL TRIANGLE FROM OUTSIDE EDGE AND ONCE DONE, CURVE EDGES
  12. PLACE ON GREASED BAKING TRAY AND ALLOW TO REST FOR 20 MINUTES
  13. BRUSH TOP WITH MELTED BUTTER
  14. BAKE FOR 18-20 MINUTES IN PREHEATED OVEN AT 180 UNTIL PUFFED AND GOLDEN BROWN
  15. BRUSH TOPS WITH MELTED BUTTER WHILE STILL WARM
  16. SERVE
