Eggless Chocolate Cake

Ingredients to make Eggless Chocolate Cake

  • 1 and 1/2 cup maida
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4th tsp soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4th cup oil
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

How to make Eggless Chocolate Cake

  1. Mix all the wet ingredients except vinegar and sugar thoroughly until all the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Sieve all the dry ingredients.
  3. Mix the wet ingredients and the dry ingredients together until there are no lumps in the mixture.
  4. Add the vinegar and mix properly. Don't over mix.
  5. Put in a 6"inch greased baking tray and bake in a preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
  6. You can even make the cake in a microwave. Just put it in a microwave proof dish and microwave on full power for 5 minutes.
  7. The cake tastes best after cooling for a minimum of 2 hours.

My Tip:

You can also make this recipe with whole wheat flour. To make an eggless vanilla cake, replace the cocoa with maida/flour.
