ABOUT Egg Drumstick stew RECIPE

It made of egg and drumstick and it is cooked in a spicy and tangy stew which is thickened by tamarind.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 hard boiled eggs
  2. 1 cup chopped onion
  3. 2 green chillies chopped
  4. 1 sprig curry leaves
  5. 1/4 tsp.cumin
  6. 1/4 tsp. Mustard
  7. 2 tbsp.corriander chopped
  8. 1/8 tsp turmeric
  9. 2 tbsp Oil
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Small lemon sized ball of tamarind
  12. 1 drumstick ,cut into 2 inchpieces

Instructions

  1. Soak tamarind in water and filter the pulp
  2. Heat a deep pan with oil
  3. Add mustard and cumin and let them splitter then add curry leaves and saute them till they become crisp
  4. Add onion and green chilli and saute them till onion gets fried
  5. Add boiled egg, drumstick , turmeric ,tamarind pulp and fry on medium flame for 3 minutes.
  6. Pour enough water to partially cover the lid and simmer it for 8 minutes
  7. Adjust salt if needed
  8. Off heat and add coriander leaves
  9. Egg drumstick stew is ready to serve
