ABOUT Channa Chaat Two ways RECIPE

The same core ingredient - chickpeas - but two very fun and easy ways to eat them. This protein rich snack is a great to eat anytime you feel the munchies

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For the Vegetable Channa Chaat:
  2. 1 cup boiled chickpeas
  3. 1/2 red capsicum chopped
  4. 1/2 green capsicum chopped
  5. 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  6. 1/4 tsp mint powder
  7. Salt to tast
  8. Juice of one lemon
  9. For the Yogurt Channa Chaat
  10. 1 cup boiled chickpeas
  11. 1/2 cup yogurt
  12. 1/4 tsp mint powder
  13. salt to taste
  14. 1 boiled potato chopped
  15. 4-5 pieces of crisp papdi or mathi
  16. a pinch of cumin powder

Instructions

  1. 1. For the vegetable channa chaat, mix all the ingredients together except for the salt and lemon. Chill
  2. 2. Just before serving, add the lemon and salt.
  3. 3. For the yogurt channa chaat, mix all the ingredients together except for the papdi and red chilli powder. Chill
  4. 4. Just before serving crush the papdi over the channa chaat and mix well. Top with red chilli and serve immediately.
