Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1/2 cup soaked soya chunks
  2. 2 cups dosa batter
  3. 1 onion finely chopped
  4. 1 green chilli finely chopped
  5. 1 tsp Chana dal
  6. 1/2 tsp mustard
  7. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  8. 1 tsp chilli powder
  9. salt to taste
  10. coriander leaves 2 tbsp finely chopped
  11. oil
  12. 1 tbsp ketchup

Instructions

  1. soak the soya chunks for 10 minutes after 10 minutes squeeze excess water and grind to coarse paste without adding water
  2. heat the pan add 1 tbsp oil when oil is hot add mustard seeds when it starts popping add Chana dal stir until golden color now add chopped onion stir for few seconds add salt stir now add chilli powder green chilli cumin powder stir well now add curry leaves coriander leaves stir for few seconds
  3. after few seconds add minced soya chunks stir for 2 minutes then add ketchup mix well switch off the flame keep aside to cool
  4. keep this to cool
  5. when it is cool enough add batter adjust salt pinch soda mix well if it is thick add little water mix to dosa consistency
  6. mix well masala soya chunks dosa batter is ready
  7. heat dosa pan when it is hot add dosa batter spread evenly and smear oil edges of dosa cook for 2 minutes
  8. after 2 minutes flip the dos add tsp oil edges of dosa and cook for 3 more minutes remove and do same as for remaining batter
  9. yummy masala soya chunks dosa is ready
  10. serve hot with coconut chutney and mayonnaise thank you it's my innovation you can do paniyaram in this same batter happy cooking
