Saffron Delight

Ingredients to make Saffron Delight

  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 2 tbsp rose syrup
  • 1 scoop of kesar icecream
  • 1/3 cup mawa
  • 1/4 cup dry fruits, chopped
  • Few threads of safforn
  • Fresh anaradana/pomegranate seeds to garnish
  • 4 tbsp milk powder

How to make Saffron Delight

  1. Take a pan, add in sugar, milk, milk powder, mawa and mix it well. Cook till it's thick.
  2. Than add in the desiccated coconut and make a thick mixture.
  3. Take a greased tray, sprinkle dry grated coconut then place in the mixture and sprinkle dry coconut and some chopped dry fruits on top. Set it on a room temperature.
  4. Then cut it into big square shapes.
  5. Take a plate, arrange coconut squares and put a scoop of icecream on top, pour rose syrup and sprinkle kesar/ saffron threads, chopped dry fruits and fresh anardana/pomegranate seends, dry coconut, cherry and serve.
