ABOUT Saamai idiyappam/ Little millet string hoppers RECIPE

Idiyappam is one traditional , any time attracting , healthy breakfast option of Tamil Nadu . A carbohydrate rich breakfast . This is one most searched item in foreign lands . When I first came to Riyadh , Saudi Arabia , say about 5 years back , idlis , dosas and idiyappams weren’t easily available. Idlis , idiyappams , masala dosas were one of the reasons I got reminded of India very often . Uff ! Specifically, how Shad I missed my home country during my early pregnancy stages . String hoppers are my childhood favourite . I prefer including millers to add fibre value to this healthy breakfast . Saamai / little millet is one traditional millet which is rich in fibre and other essential vitamins and minerals . A very easy breakfast option as well .
