ABOUT Chur Chur Dahi RECIPE

Chur Chur Dahi is a curd and beaten rice parfait (poha). It is a perfect healthy breakfast. This fruit poha and yoghurt parfait is mostly cherished in Bihar. It is so yummy and a no cook breakfast delicacy. Eating poha without cooking it may sound absurd but it tastes interesting. The crunchiness gives it the name chur chur and the fruits added to it makes it a complete nutritious meal. Just try it yourself and you would say wow! This recipe has been inspired by Better butter.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 tbsp pressed rice (poha)
  2. 100 grams curd
  3. 1 tbsp Honey
  4. 2 tbsp Hersheys strawberry syrup
  5. 1 Banana sliced
  6. 2-4 Strawberries
  7. 10 Black Grapes
  8. 4 tsp red and green tutti frutti

Instructions

  1. In a bowl soak the pressed rice, poha in the beaten curd for 30 minutes. It would dry and thicken. (If it is too dry, add a little more curd.) Then add honey to this mixture and keep aside.
  2. Take a glass and put 1 tsp of tutti frutti in it. Top it with a layer of banana slices and few black grapes.
  3. Pour 1 tsp strawberry hersheys syrup over it. Now put a thick layer of curd and poha mix prepared.
  4. Top it with the beaten curd again. Once again, add fruits, banana, grapes, tutti frutti and strawberries.
  5. Pour in a little hersheys syrup over the top and your chur chur dahi is ready.
