About Tomato Raita Recipe

This raita goes well with Dals or Non-Veg dishes.

Tomato Raita

Ingredients to make Tomato Raita

  • curd 1 cup
  • 1 big sized tomato, diced
  • Curry patta 10-12
  • ginger, grated 1/2 tsp
  • sugar 3 tsp
  • Green chilli 1
  • mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
  • Boondi 4 tsp
  • A pinch of salt
  • Refined oil 1/8 tsp

How to make Tomato Raita

  1. Add sugar and salt into the curd and beat it well.
  2. Next, mix in the ginger, tomatoes in it.
  3. In a pan add the mustard seeds, chillies and curry leaves. As the spluttering starts and the curry leaves are a little fried, pour this mixture into the curd.
  4. It is ready to be served!
