ABOUT Prawn Stuffed Teasel Gourd RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 200 GM SMALL PRAWNS
  2. 5 TEASEL GOURDS
  3. 2 TBSP MUSTARD PASTE
  4. 5 TBSP GRATED COCONUT
  5. Oil to fry
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1 tbsp chilli powder

Instructions

  1. CUT THE TEASEL GOURDS INTO HALVES. BOIL THE TEASEL GOURDS FOR 10 MINS. THEN CLEAN THE SEEDS FROM INSIDE IT.
  2. Fry the prawn in hot oil (but not so much).
  3. Mix the mustard paste, salt, chilli powder, fried prawn and grated coconut. Stuff this into the teasel gourd.
  4. Fry this stuffed teasel gourd in hot oil for 2 mins.
  5. Serve it with steamed rice.
