Green apple pickle. Cut green apple into shal small pieces. Add red chilli powder, salt over it and do not mix In a tempering pan, heat gingelly oil. Once hot, add mustard seeds, hing, fenugreek seeds. Once they splutter pour it over the cut apples over the red chilli powder. Mix and enjoy!!
And even green apple thokku is great.grest the green apple.take 2to3 tsp of oil add mustard seed and little hing.then add thr grated apple .cook until tender add kashmiry chilly 2tsp salt 1tsp haldihalf tsp.cook for few minutes untill oil reaches the top of the pickle .put of the fire.cool and bottle it
Maahali root is a wonder full pickle preparation is difficult but very tasty.seasonal.but can be preserved untill next season Fresh green pepper can be pickled very easy.remove the peppercorns wash dry with clean towel.add salt and cover the whole lot with fresh lime juice.cut some tender gingerand even the lemon peel can be cut into tiny peices and added along with the piclkedpepper.no seasoning or tempering required .use it after 3or4 days keep it in the fridge
