Yes @ Tamil Selvi, All liked in my family. You explained it so well so. And Tamil I tried the Sweet Version too. Both my grand daughters Loved sweet pearls.
Usually,sweet version,we put coconut jaggary filling inside the ball.& steam it. It s also very tasty. U can make it wigh sugar too.but the balls should b a little bigget in size. & for savoury, we add some coconuts,grated along with rice flour. But,These two look so tasty.
OK. I made syrup of jaggery as in other sweets and cooked with grated fresh coconut. When we mare "KARANJI" it's a MAHARASTRIAN DISH. We Saute coconut and sugar mixture and than fill by adding cardamom. So I added ball in Jaggery syrup.. My grand Kids enjoyed saying WHITE GULAB JAMUN ".
Manisha mam for sweet version add jaggery in a cup of boiling milk add two tsp of rice flour for thickness cardomom powder and ur prepared balls finally add one cup of thick coconut milk :raised_hands:
OK Will try with that also. Thnx.. we add milk in chasany ( syrup ) to remove impurities. But definitely I will make balls with milk as you suggest. And @ Tamil after adding milk also do we have to steam balls ??
