Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. For grains mixture Foxtail millets 4 cup
  2. Brown rice 2 cup
  3. Red lentils 1/2 cup
  4. Split green gram 1/2 cup
  5. Split bengal gram 1/4 cup
  6. Split black gram 1/4 cup
  7. Split red gram 1/4 cup
  8. Barle 1/4 cup
  9. For Healthy Khichadi
  10. Grains mixture 2 cup
  11. Fresh corn 1/2 cup
  12. Chopped spinach 1/2 vup
  13. Chopped carrots 1/2 cup
  14. Chopped Tondali 1/2 cup
  15. Chopped long beans 1/2 cup
  16. Chopped coliflower 1/2 cup
  17. Chopped capcicum 1/2 cup
  18. Chopped onion 1
  19. Split cut green chillies 5pcs
  20. Curry leaves 8
  21. Crushed garlic 1 tsp
  22. Turmeric 1 tsp
  23. Goda masala or any masala 2 tsp
  24. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  25. Oil 2 Tbsp
  26. Salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. WASH 3 TO 4 TIMES ALL GRAINS.AND SOAK FOR 2 HOURS.
  2. PREPARE ALL INGREDIENTS.
  3. IN PRESSURE COOKER HEAT 2 TBSP OIL.
  4. IN OIL ADD MUSTARD SEEDS,CUMIN SEEDS AND CHILLIES.
  5. ADD CURRY LEAVES AND HING.
  6. ADD CHOPPED ONIONS.
  7. AFTER ONIONS TURNS SLIGHTLY BROWN ADD ALL VEGETABLES TURN BY TURN.
  8. ADD ALL DRY MASALA.
  9. ADD SOAKED GRAINS IN IT.
  10. ADD SALT.
  11. ADD 4 CUP HOT WATER.
  12. AFTER 5 WHISTLE ON HIGH FLAME REDUCE IT AND COOK FOR 10 MIN ON SIM GAS.AFTER THAT SWITCH OFF THE GAS
