Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Chana daal 150 gm
  2. Urad(maash) daal 50 gm
  3. Onion chopped 1/2
  4. Tomato chopped 1
  5. Chopped ginger 1 inch piece
  6. Chopped green chillies 4
  7. Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  8. Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  9. Salt 1 teaspoon
  10. Mustard oil 1 tablespoon
  11. Chopped coriander leaves a sprig
  12. Sliced onion for tadka 1/2
  13. Cumin 1 teaspoon
  14. Oil for tadka 2 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. TAKE OUT ALL THE INGREDIENTS AT ONE PLACE.
  2. WASH DAAL WITH WATER.
  3. ADD TWO CUP WATER AND ALL THE INGREDIENTS.
  4. ADD ONE TABLESPOON MUSTARD OIL AND MIX WELL.
  5. COVER THE LID AND TAKE ONE WHISTLE AND KEEP THE COOKER ON LOW FLAME FOR TEN MINUTES.
  6. TAKE OUT DAAL IN A BOWL AND SPRINKLE CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES ON IT.
  7. NOW SPRINKLE ROASTED AND POWDERED CUMIN.
  8. HEAT TADKA PAN WITH MUSTARD OIL, FRY SLICED ONION AND POUR OVER DAAL.
  9. MASALA CHANA MAASH DAAL IS READY TO EAT.
