Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Dosa rice 1 cup
  2. Boiled red rice 1 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Water
  5. Coconut oil 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. BOILED RED RICE, OVERNIGHT SOAKED DOSA RICE, SOME WATER
  2. ADD SALT TO TASTE AND GRIND SMOOTHLY
  3. HEAT 1 TSP OF COCONUT OIL, ADD GROUND BATTER AND SUFFICIENT WATER, THE BATTER SHOULD BE WATERY
  4. STIR CONTINUOUSLY IN LOW-MEDIUM FLAME
  5. STIR UNTIL SPATULA STANDS STRAIGHT IN DOUGH, SWITCH OFF AND ALLOW IT TO COOL
  6. PREPARE EQUAL SIZED DOUGH BALLS AND KEEP READY
  7. TAKE ONE BY ONE DOUGH BALLS AND PRESS THEM SEPARATELY, REMOVE THE OILY SHEETS
  8. HEAT AN IRON TAVA, GREASE COCONUT OIL, PLACE PRESSED ROTI
  9. REMOVE ANOTHER SHEET, SPRINKLE SOME OIL
  10. FLIP AND COOK ANOTHER SIDE UNTIL BROWN PATCHES HERE AND THERE IN MEDIUM-LOW FLAME
  11. REMOVE AND SERVE IN HOT WITH CHUTNEY OR CURRY
