5 Ways to Remove Makeup Naturally

When you come back after a party, one of the last things you want to do is remove your makeup. Removing makeup is one task that is really cumbersome. 1) Milk

Then gently wipe your face clean by using either a cotton ball/pad or a clean, soft cloth to do so. To remove eye makeup dip cotton into milk and use it to clean your eyes. After this, wash your eyes thoroughly.

 

2) Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is packed with a myriad of benefits-be it for your face, skin or hair. The oil is enough to easily remove any waterproof makeup that you have applied. Dr. Reema Arora, Medical Facial Head at the Cocoon Centre of Aesthetic Transformation, says that coconut oil contains 3 valuable fatty acids and is packed with innumerable antimicrobial properties. These properties of coconut oil make it the perfect moisturizer for both your face and your body.

 

3) Cucumber Paste

Dr. Indu Ballani believes that the majority of makeup removers that are found in the market today contain cucumber juice. She’s of the opinion that, rather than spending money on such products, you can simply take some cucumber and either add a few drops of coconut oil or a few drops of olive oil to it. Put this mixture in a blender and blend it into a paste and apply it on your face.  Cucumbers contain anti-inflammatory properties which in addition to reducing skin inflammation, can also be used to easily remove makeup.

 

4) Baking Soda and Honey

Be it oil-based or powder-based, a mixture of baking soda and honey can easily remove any kind of makeup. Apply honey on a clean cloth and sprinkle some baking soda onto it as well. Use this cloth to remove the makeup from your face. Incessant rubbing of the face to remove makeup or using an astringent to do the same can spoil the natural softness and suppleness of your skin.

 

5) Baby Oil

It is very hard to remove mascara, but the best solution to remove it is by using baby oil. A few drops of baby oil will not only remove mascara but will also remove all the makeup from your face. Baby oil removes makeup so well that after using it, you won’t even know that you had applied makeup on your face!
