Aishwarya Rai became Miss World in 1994. She was asked, that according to her, what is the one quality that is very important to become Miss World. She gave a heart-warming reply to this question. Referring to the contribution of her mother to her life, Manushi said that being a mother should be the most loved and the highest-paying job in the world.
Sushmita Sen won the Miss Universe title in 1994. She was asked that what is the value of being a woman. She responded to this by saying that being a woman is a boon in itself because it is a woman who takes the world and the human race forward and it is a woman only who teaches a man to love.
Lara Dutta, who won the Miss Universe title in 2000, was asked that some people consider the Miss Universe title as being against women and how she would make them understand that it is actually not so. Lara Dutta gave a very intelligent response to this question. She said that the title of ‘Miss Universe’ provides young girls a platform through which they can make their voices heard in the world and through which they can start working in any field that they want.
