British High Commissioner Enjoys Eating Rasgulla In Kolkata

Kolkata is famous for its street food and other rich delicacies. Whether we talk about that spicy churmur or wholesome lucchi aloor dum, Kolkata is undoubtedly the place that’s run by foodies. While talking about the food of Kolkata, not mentioning its juicy rasgulla would be a sin.  

Recently, Alex Ellis, who is the British High Commissioner to India made a sojourn to Kolkata and enjoyed eating the famous rasgulla. He enjoyed the taste of rasgulla at the popular eatery of Kolkata, K.C. Das. Sharing his experience of eating rasgulla, Alex Ellis took to the Twitter and wrote “I am very happy to be in Kolkata, the sweetest city in India. K. of the Esplanade here. C. At Das’s outlet, I tasted “Banglar Rasgolla” with great taste”. Earlier it was Harsh Goenka who had tweeted about the street food of Kolkata and called it the best in the country. 

Alex Ellis was seen eating rasgulla in a clay pot and the smile on his face is a clear indication of how much he enjoyed eating rasgulla in Kolkata. After Alex shared this picture on Twitter, many Twitter users expressed their happiness and requested the British High Commissioner to India to try eating other delicacies of the place. It seems Alex Ellis is fond of Indian cuisines as in his earlier visits too, he was seen relishing the famous Indian dishes like Mysore masala dosa, vada pav and a few more.
