We see various different jodis in Bollywood movies every day but till date, these are the best on-screen jodis: 

 

1) Shahrukh Khan and Kajol

Shahrukh and Kajol are the most popular on-screen jodi hands down, with blockbusters like ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayege’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’, ‘Karan Arjun’ and ‘Baazigar’. After DDLJ, all romantics dream of finding the love of their lives in a train or even in a mustard field. This couple also made people believe that a guy and a girl can never be just good friends.

 

2) Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone

The power couple have a sizzling chemistry both on-screen and off-screen. They have appeared together in movies  such as ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Padmavat’- all of which have done extremely well at the box office. The couple got married last month in Italy.

 

3) Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha

The angry young man along with the sensuous Rekha has been one of the most popular on-screen couples ever. They were allegedly seeing each other in real life too but then Amitabh broke all ties with Rekha, since he was married to Jaya ji. One of the best-looking couples on screen, they have appeared in timeless movies such as ‘Silsila’, ‘Mr. Natwarlal’, ‘Muqaddar Ka Sikandar’ and ‘Suhaag’.

 

4) Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt

The duo has several hit films under their belt such as ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, ‘Student of the Year’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. ‘Varia’, as the on screen jodi is lovingly called by their fans, will soon be seen in Dharma Productions  film “Kalank”.

 

5) Govinda and Karishma Kapoor

The couple was seen in a series of Number one movies directed by David Dhawan in the 90’s.  The goofy couple made everyone laugh with their comedy. They are the couple who would wear anything, do anything and say anything to make people laugh!

 

6) Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif

The couple has given many movies which have been part of the 100-crore club such as ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hain’, ‘Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya’ and the soon to be released ‘Bharat’.

 

7) Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit Nene

This on-screen couple ruled the box office in the 90s. The rough and macho guy paired with the feminine and beautiful girl won everyone over in movies like ‘Tezaab’, ‘Ram Lakhan’ and ‘Beta’.
