With festivals comes the inspiration to make artistic and creative things. A similar outstanding piece of work was recently witnessed in Kerala. A Kerala-based artist, Suresh PK who is also famous as Da Vinchi Suresh taking inspiration from Theyyam created a remarkable artwork. For the unversed, Theyyam or Kaliyattam is a ritual dance performed mainly in Kerala and Karnataka. This dance is performed by the lower caste community of Kerala who adorns themselves with heavy make-up and heavy costumes.

Furthermore, Suresh PK created an edible mascot of Theyyam. Edible Theyyam! Yeah, you got us right! He created a 24-foot long mascot using 25,000 biscuits. His artwork was widely acknowledged and appreciated by all after he shared a glimpse of his artwork on Instagram. Suresh revealed that it was Chef Rasid Mohammad who instructed him to complete this masterpiece in just 15 hours. Suresh captioned the post and wrote: “it is made up of 25,000 biscuits and other bakery products of various colours and sizes“.

This is not the first time that Suresh created an artwork. He says that he uses different media to creak artwork and this reportedly is his 79th medium. Earlier, he had created a portrait of APJ Abdul Kalam with gold and also of several celebrities including, Amitabh Bachchan. So, what do you think about Suresh’s piece of artwork?
