The methods written below are not definite ways to avoid vaginal infections but these measures can surely help you to reduce the chances of contracting vaginal infections.
- Do not use deodorant and deodorant pads in the vagina.
- Wear loose pants and comfortable clothes.
- Wear soft and cottony undergarments.
- Wet clothes should be immediately changed.
- Eat healthy food.
- Do not bathe in a bathtub.
- Wash your undergarments with hot water
Home remedies for Vaginal Infection :
Garlic is a very effective anti-microbial.
Treatment 1– Take a garlic bud and cut it into two halves. The longer we leave it in the open, the more effective it will be. Now wrap it in a thin cloth and keep it in your vagina. Leave it like this overnight and repeat this treatment for a few days. Do not forget to consult a doctor before using this treatment.
Treatment 2 – Use finely chopped garlic in pasta, bread, and cuisine. And if you have the guts, then eat one spoonful of raw chopped garlic.
Yogurt is filled with good bacteria which we call probiotics. Probiotics are the best way to get rid of vaginal infections.
Treatment 1 – Use yogurt in your diet and be careful not to use sugar or any type of sweetening agent as it promotes yeast.
Treatment 2 – Place 1 teaspoon yogurt on the vagina and the surrounding area. Wear a panty liner and leave it like this overnight. If you have any kind of irritation or discomfort by doing so, contact your doctor.
3. Coconut Oil
Coconut oil has antifungal properties
Treatment: Mix five drops of lavender oil in 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and apply it on the vagina.
4. Apple Cider Vinegar
The acid in apple cider vinegar provides relaxation in the vagina. It has antibacterial properties that kill bad bacteria.
Treatment – Add 2 cups of apple cider vinegar to warm water and bath with this water.
5. Neem Leaves
Neem has antibacterial and antiviral properties which increase our immunity and help us get rid of vaginal infections.
Treatment 1 – Drink herbal neem tea and use lemon and honey for flavor.
Treatment 2 – Add 5 drops of neem oil and 5 drops of coconut oil to a bucket of lukewarm water and take a bath with it.
Although doctors will prescribe you some medicines to get rid of vaginal infections, these treatments will also give you great relief from pain. Before trying these treatments, you must consult a doctor.
