Ingredients to make Nawabi fish korma in bengali

  • Fish -4 pieces
  • Onion-2(1 for beresta,1 for paste)
  • Ginger-1/2 t sp
  • Garlic -1/2 t sp
  • Curd- 2 t sp
  • Green chilli paste-1t sp
  • Garam masala-2/3
  • Cashew nut paste-2 t sp
  • Raisin paste-1 t sp
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Water

How to make Nawabi fish korma in bengali

  1. In a kadai add oil and fry the onion to make beresta.
  2. In the same kadai fry the fish until golden brown.
  3. In a bowl,add onion pate,ginger garlic paste,curd,green chilli paste and make a smooth paste.
  4. In the same kadai add the whole spices.Fry them until aromatic.
  5. Add the spices.
  6. Add salt and low the heat.
  7. Add cashew nut and raisin paste and sugar also.
  8. Add little amount of water.
  9. Cover the kadai and bring it to boil.
  10. Add the fried fishes.
  11. Cover the kadai for a few mins.
  12. Add garam masala.
  13. Add fried onion(beresta)
  14. Cover the kadai and cook for 2/3 mins.
  15. Nawabi fish korma is ready.Serve it with rice or pulak.
